Daycare
St. Charles Daycare Ministry enrolls children ages 2 and up. Currently, our daycare is full and a waitlist is unavailable at this time.

Our daycare is an early learning environment which provides the same safe, loving, and nurturing care your children receive at home. In our daycare, you will be greeted with loving faces who care deeply for your children and their well-being. While we focus on the wellness needs of your children, we also provide them with educational opportunities for academic growth. Our early learning daycare environment focuses on the developmental milestones of young children from 2-years-old to 3-years-old. We have also created a theme based curriculum which allows us to plan activities to encourage exploration in a play based environment. On a daily basis, our students participate in sensory activities, messy art projects, sing songs, learn fingerplays, and have time to explore the classroom and outside play area. It is our intention to help your child grow independently and socially with their peers.

Each classroom focuses on the following concept areas:
- Sensory and creative art projects for exploration 
- Development of motor skills for their little growing bodies
- Independent life skills; such as self-feeding with utensils, self-soothing, and potty training
- Introduction of sign language to help foster early communication skills 
- Early literacy skills through storytelling and introduction to the alphabet 
- Social and emotional skills through play
- Introduction of circle time which consists of a story, songs, and fingerplays 
- Gentle introduction of theology through meal prayers and some Catholic holiday related curriculum surrounding Easter and Christmas.
