6th Grade
❖    Reading: My Perspectives by Saavas, Scholastic Scope, utilizes novels and the Indiana State Standards
❖    Diagnostic: i-Ready, IXL
❖    6th Grade Novels: The Call of the Wild by Jack London, The Candymakers by Wendy Mass, Every Soul a Star by Wendy Mass
❖    Writing: RACE writing strategy, Simplify Writing
❖    Morphology: IMSE
❖    Vocabulary: Sadlier
❖    Remedial Programs: Students needing remedial reading may participate during the school day in resource.

7th Grade
❖    Reading: My Perspectives by Saavas, Scholastic Scope, utilizes novels and the Indiana State Standards
❖    Diagnostic: IXL
❖    7th Grade Novels: The Outsiders, students select a novel each quarter as well
❖    Writing: RACE writing strategy, Simplify Writing
❖    Vocabulary: Sadlier
❖    Remedial Programs: Students needing remedial reading may participate during the school day in resource.

8th Grade
❖    Reading: My Perspectives by Saavas, Scholastic Scope, utilizes novels and the Indiana State Standards

❖    8th Grade Novels: Flowers for Algernon is a novelette, Inside Out and Back Again, Surviving the Angel of Death: The True Story    
       of a Mengele Twin in Auschwitz
