Middle School (6-8)
We prepare students academically and personally for high school, and spiritually for the rest of their lives. Students learn the importance of being a positive role model to younger students as they assume a leadership role in their last few years at St. Charles. Language Arts practices the core foundation through writing projects and analyzing a variety of literature. Our accelerated programs in Math offer both algebra and geometry, including opportunity for high school credit. Science studies matter, energy, weather and climate, and human’s impact on earth and life over time. Social Studies focuses on current events, the early civilizations in the Americas and the American Revolution. Religion instruction concentrates on learning about the saints, the experiences of Advent and Lent as well as how to put faith in action. It is our goal that students leave St. Charles with fond memories of positive interactions and experiences with their educators, staff, classmates and community, developing the tools they will need as Christian leaders throughout their lifetime.
