We believe that parents are the first and life-long teachers of their children. When a student is enrolled at St. Charles the parents enter into a partnership with the school. This partnership creates a special environment that fosters the child’s academic success and emotional well-being. Parents have many opportunities to assist and support their child’s education at St. Charles and are always encouraged to do so. Parents, as visitors or volunteers, are always welcome in the school.
The home/school relationship is a vital link in the education of the child. We expect parents to support the instruction and teachings of the school.
Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled in the fall at the end of the first grading period. You should also feel free to contact your child’s teachers or the principal anytime you have questions or concerns.
Get involved. Volunteer. You may be surprised how much it means to your child and the effect it has on his success in school. Volunteers need to complete the Safe Parish training. You will need to create a username and password. Access code is "archindy2021." A background check is part of Safe Parish Training. Once you have completed this, it will be rechecked periodically and we will notify you about your renewal check.
